Located on the Çibiş Creek, one of Turkey's notable canyons, in addition to the Araç River, the power plant is adjacent to the Araç Canyon, approximately 1 km away. Water is collected using an artificial reservoir-type regulator. The plant utilizes a 940-meter Concrete Closed Channel (Conduit) water conveyance system. It consists of three Kaplan-type turbines with a total installed capacity of 3.084 MWm/2.990 MWe.
