In Kastamonu's Araç district, Usta Hydroelectric Power Generation Inc. owns two power plants, Kuzkaya-1 and Kuzkaya-2, on the Araç River. Together, they have a total capacity of 6.775 MWm/6.518 MWe and produce 19.899 GWh annually. Operations began on October 25, 2020. Energy is transmitted to Araç TM via 36 kV ENH and falls under YEKDEM. Kuzkaya-1 has a 5970-meter open channel (trapezoidal) water conveyance structure and two Francis Type turbines with a total capacity of 2.691 MWm/3.528 MWe.
