In Trabzon's Maçka district, the Arısu Regulator and Hydroelectric Power Plant is situated on Maden Creek, a tributary of Değirmendere, with its transmission tunnel located on Altıntaş Creek. The plant, featuring a 1993-meter Modified Tunnel and a 1532-meter Closed Channel water conveyance structure, comprises two Francis Type and one Pelton Type turbines, with a total capacity of 5.009 MWm/4.684 MWe and an annual production capacity of 12.519 GWh. Operations began on February 17, 2014, and energy is transmitted to Maçka TM via 36 kV ENH, falling under the scope of YEKDEM.
